What's Dreamboat ?
In 2019, the DreamBoat project was launched, gathering the three Dansou Groups of K Dash Agency : Fudanjuku, Ael and Euphoria. If the last two were just created in 2019, the idols composing it already had a common past called Ikemen Joshi Project and which wasn't that far from Fudanjuku's history actually.
Ikemen Joshi means "boyish girls", which is different from Dansou which refers to dressing and acting as a man. In 2014, auditions were held tittled "Fudanjuku's next generation auditions". Among the five thousands participants, twelve girls were chosen to form two Ikemen Joshi units : seven went to The Hoopers and five went to Axell.
The Hoopers
The adventure of this unit started in 2014 under the Universal Music Japan label. The first of their nine singles aired on March 2015 and was tilted Itoshi Koishi kimi koishi. The seven starting members were Mirai, Sena, Haruki, Tsubasa, Yuhi, Mizuki and Makoto. Each member has a role in the formation (Fashion, cheering, acrobat, vocal, ...) which is kinda similar but also kinda different to Fudanjuku's Otaku domain.
Cecil joined the group in 2015, despite being also part of Axell. In 2017, Noa from Little Hoop (a trainee grop formed in 2016) and Lee from Axell joined the group on the 7th single Shamrock. 2017 is also Mizuki and Yuhi's graduation, the first graduating to pursue a civilian life away from idol life and the second for health reason. Makoto graduated in 2018.
There were collaboration events between Fudanjuku and The Hoopers, like Dream Island 2016 or Ikemen Paradise in 2017 (this is where this Kiratto Love video comes from). The group was invited to the Japan Expo 2017, an event about Japanese pop culture held in Paris and did a few event abroad.
The group was disbanded in 2019, their last live "The Final Fantasia, Ai no Zenbu, for you !" being held on January. However, it's not the end of the story since the remaining members went to the new Dansou Unit Ael (which stands for All Eternal Love and is pronounced like "Aeru" which means "to meet" in Japanese) which means that even if before they were only boyish girls, they're now performing as boys (like Fudanjuku). Some fans still consider them as boyish girls though.
Axell
Formed at the same time than The Hoopers, Axell was under TMS Label. Less popular than The Hoopers, Axell made 3 singles and an album and was in activity from 2014 to February 2019, Shion (Toa now) being their leader. You can download the last one here to give it a try, their songs were really refreshing and nice !
The original members were Shion, Nozomu, Asuka, Cecil, and Lee. After Asuka and Nozomu's graduaton, Aoi and Shou joined in 2017. Cecil and Lee were also part of The Hoopers at the same time.
Axell's former member then formed Euphoria, Shion being Utaori Toa, the leader and Shou and Aoi being Tosaki Kokoro and Aoi Minato. Kaido and Iori from Euphoria came from Little Hoop. Having been in both The Hoopers and Axell, Cecil and Lee went to Ael instead of Euphoria.
After Axell and The Hoopers' disbandment in 2019, two new units were created : Ael who became Pipping Hot in 2022 and Euphoria who became BOP in 2021.
Ael | Pipping Hot
Ael means "All Eternal Love" and is pronouned Aeru like "会える" (which means "to meet") and they're a rock-themed Dansou group. There are currently five members : Haruki, LEE, Kyou, Takumi and Saku. They were seven members at first and three graduated in the beginnng 2020 : Sena, Mirai and Cecil. Noa graduated in December of the same year and Kanata in 2021.
They got new members in July 2021 and the group took a new start thanks to them. They released their first album DREAMER in October. In early 2022 the group was rebranded under the name Pipping Hot. After 3 singles released, it was announced that Pipping Hot would disband in February 2024.

Former fashion and cheering leader in the Hoopers, Haruki is now the main vocal and the unofficial leader of Ael since Mirai's graduation. Since Sena's graduation, he's also Ael's MC.
Fan of videogames, darts, music (especially kpop, he's also learning Korean), videogames (fan of Kingdom Hearts) and Marvel, Haruki is an indoor person and claims that he'll remain a 5 years old kid forever. Very close to his parents and grandparents, he has a laid back and cool activity but can also acte childishly. He's very caring and sweet. Haruki's also an adept of instant cup noodles and used to play guitar.
Shizuki LEE

Former dance leader of Axell and The Hoopers, Lee is now the main dancer of Ael and even the one who writes most of their choregraphy. He joined the Ikemen Joshi Project because he was a fan of Fudanjuku.
Lee loves Disney (especially Chip and Dale), Tsum Tsums and animals (especially cats), but also Star Wars (his favorite character is BB-8), Final Fantasy and Animal Crossing. His favorite food is sushi.
Cheerful, joyful, benevolent and always optimistic, Lee is also very clumsy except when he's on stage. The contrast between the clumsy Lee and the pro-level dancer is something that makes him a verry attaching person.
When it comes to music, some of his favorite singers and bands are Nissy, Blackpink, Nogizaka46 and Twice.

Kyo has an intense love for sweets and very sugary foods. His symbol emoji is a cloud because he loves them. He often stops to take pics of the clouds. His main nickname is "Yagumon". So it's the only kind of coffee he drinks. He's 165 cm tall and think he's 30% weird. Lee thinks that he's 100% weird instead. His nickname is Takkun. He seems very shy at first but once he opens up he's a very nice and cute person.
He always smile and takes videos of the members a lot. He says that he loves to write about his feelings or what he thinks and that once he starts he's never gonna stop, so his blog articles might be very long. If Kyou and Saku got picked as member in the same audition, Takumi arrived among the trainees a bit after so he said he had kind of an hard time finding a place between them not to feel left out. But now he treasures these two and the other members a lot.

Saku's nickname is Sakkun. He's the youngest member of dreamBoat and his symbol emojis are the yellow heart and the puppy face. He has a very cute voice and loves the Sylvanian and also collecting Gachapons figures. He made a list of the animes he likes on his Twitter to help his fans getting to know him more. His favourite character is Asuka from the popular show Neon Genesis Evangelion. He has a dog.
Each month, he tweets on the 1st a list of goals he'd like to reach within the month. He really wants to improve and is very open to his fans about his struggle. He takes care a lot of Ael's presence online and often adds Instagram Stories on the official page of the group, especially during events so that both fans who can come and fans who can't can get insight of it and not feel left out.

Former member of Little Hoop, Ayame does the translation of some of Ael songs (like Hakugen or Yuugen). He's calm, smart, very polite and composed. He really pays attention to people, but also takes great care of fans who can't be on the events' spot. He has an aristocrat character type, but remains humble and doesn't push it.
Ayame is also a big fan of the manga Hunter x Hunter (especially Kurapika) and can talk about it for hours. Ayame is also fan of a soccer team called Jef United. He seems to be really good friends with Minato from Euphoria.

Former SNS leader of The Hoopers, Noa is the youngest member of the group. Very calm, he's very thoughtful and worked really hard to reach the other members' level (according to Mirai). A lot of people say that he also worked hard to find his place in the group since the triple graduation of February 2020. He has a cute and friendly personality and a very funny laugh.
He did modeling for Kinglymask and also for Kera as a Hooper member. He has a sister, loves the anime Banana Fish, watching korean dramas, eating oysters and avocados, sunbathing and going out. He graduated on December 26th.

Former leader and Main Vocal of The Hoopers, Mirai graduated in 2020 for health reason. She's now active on YouTube on her channel where they propose covers, fashion videos, and sometimes does collaborations with other ex-members of The Hoopers and Ael (like Sena or Tsubasa). They also sometimes show up for covers on Kobasolo's channel.
In 2020 they did a Tour called "Mirai Covers 100 Songs". The lives were availables for foreigners since most of them were streamed. Mirai also showed up in a YouTube streamed jpop festival oriented toward foreigners (the singers even spoke in English or used panels written in English). In this live, Mirai said they'd love to visit countries where their fans live, even if they have to wait for the pandemic to end before this.

Former MC Leader of The Hooper and then Ael, Sena was a great dancer and acrobat.
They played on a few musicals, like the one based on Sailor Moon (Sailor Venus) or one based on The Servant of Evil (Len). After their graduation in 2020, they joined a few projects and frequently come on Mirai's YouTube Channel. They even came for a YouTube live where they sung a few songs they sang as they were in the Hoopers.

After their graduation from Ael, Cecil opened her YouTube Channel. She is now active as a solo talent and sings in small shows. She also took part in an audition for the Wack company.
Euphoria
This Dansou Idol group with a prince style was created in 2019 aims to bring Euphoria to everyone, which is the reason why they chose this name. Most members come from Axell except Itsuki and Iori who's a former members of Little Hoop.
During the promotion of their first album announced to be released on August 25th 2021, Toa announced that he would graduate on November 14th. But in October, Minato announced that he would also graduate and it was decided that the group would disband on November 14th in the end. With the two remaining members and new ones, a new 4 members group was formed : BOP.

Former leader of Axell under the name Shion, Toa (nicknamed Uta-kun) is the unofficial leader of Euphoria since the group's debut but also the main vocalist. He has a clear idea of what kind of idol he aims to be and of what Euphoria and DreamBoat should aim to be. He works very hard to reach his goals.
He also loves idols, being a big fan of Hello!Project (his oshis are Mizuki Fukumura from Morning Musume and Hako from Juice=Juice). He even participated in the "Idols who love H!P" event of 2019.
Very caring, Toa pays a lot of attention to foreigner fans, talking of them sometimes in tweets (like by mentionning that he's happy there are comments in foreign languages under Euphoria's videos and Tiktok and that he reads them with someone translating some for him). He also loves cats and has one at home.

Former member of Little Hoop, Itsuki (nicknamed Ikkun) is the chaotic dork of the group but also the main dancer. Dance and exercising in general are his passions but he also loves gardening and growing out vegetables. He's clearly the moodmaker of the group and loves to mess around with the others. He's almost always smiling and often takes care of doing the MCs part during lives (he's really good at it!). He will definitely remember you.

Tosaki Kokoro

Former member of Axell under the name Shou, Kokoro (nicknamed Kokoron) is the little brother of the unit. He has a shota character and a wide angelic smile. However, he's a bit of an airhead and has a great chaotic potential once with Ikkun, it's just as they shared 2 braincells together (like there's a super funny picture of him with a duck buoy on his face which is way too funny). He also forms a popular combo with Minato, which is logic since they're both ex-Axell members.
His favorite animals are oompa loompas and his hobby is to go out to eat sweets and search for delicious foods. He also plays violin and spent a big part of his childhood learning it.
Kokoron's naka-no-hito is unknown. However Ikkun describes her as an angel. On the Teichiku website, it's said that "He has more fun up on stage than anyone, thoroughly enchanting all who lay eyes on him."
Aoi Minato

Former member of Axell under the name Aoi, he's the youngest member of the group. He has an aristocratic/prince character that he tries to keep up with, but he's also very airhead. He's really adorable, having a smile almost as bright as Kokoron's. It seems that he likes birds but also Donald Duck.
It seems that one of his hobbies is visiting world heritage sites and going to Buddha statues. He also does karate (he's a blackbelt and won a few matches) and roundoff. He likes lawn darts. On Teichiku's website, he's said to be "Polite and high-spirited. The incredible performance woven from his naturally long limbs is truly a sight to behold".
He announced in early October that he would graduate at the same time as Utaori Toa on November which lead to the group's disbandment.
BOP
BOP stands for Best Over Powered and is a group that took over Euphoria's discography and remaining members. The concept of this group is to make fans feel overwhelmed by the performance of the members and to bet on their cool attitudes. The leader is Tosaki Kokoro and their main point is the energy and passion they put in their performance. They released three singles since March 2022 but in May 2023 it was announced that the unit would get disbanded after a last album release in August. Their last live will be held on September 9th. We stil have no informations about whether the members will stay in dreamBoat after this or not.

Former member of Axell under the name Shou, Kokoro (nicknamed Kokoron) is the member with the most experience in the idol industry among the group. His angelic smile and cheerful personality will make your heart flutter but his growling voice when he raps and stable but also powerful vocals will make you love him as a performer. As the leader of the unit, he showed a more reliable character than his previous little brother role in Euphoria. He takes really great care of the members and ensure the communication goes through well in the unit.
His favorite animals are oompa loompas and his hobby is to go out to eat sweets and search for delicious foods. He also plays violin and spent a big part of his childhood learning it.
Kokoron's naka-no-hito is unknown. However Ikkun describes her as an angel. On the Teichiku website, it's said that "He has more fun up on stage than anyone, thoroughly enchanting all who lay eyes on him." Kokoro is also really into 2D idols and aim to recreate this sort of concept through dansou.

Ryuuga Masato

Masato is the main vocalist of BOP. He's always dreamt of becoming a singer and started piano at only 3 years old. Before joining dreamBoat Sara had experience as a model and also released songs on her own.
Masato was really shy at first but he slowly found his place in the group. Despite being the oldest of the unit, he calls Kokoro and Itsuki his dads and is treated like the youngest. He learnt a lot about dance thanks to Haruto in order to join the group as he had never done dance before and knew nothing about it. Masato aims to be an idol who can help people keep going, he wants to be of any help to his fans. He's really sweet and takes time to make every fan feel special. He was also scared that no one might come to his birthday special event and was very happy to see the fan illuminate the live house with red.
Masato enjoys watching anime but also loves songwriting. He composes and write lyrics. He wrote the song Over the Top that was performed during two of their one man live, there's no record yet of this song but you can find the lyrics of it on Masato's Twitte
Ayanami Haruto

Haruto is one of the main dancers of BOP. Before joining he wasn't familiar at all with singing but thanks to all his efforts he managed to become very good at it and even great at rapping (his evolution clearly showed during the Resistance release period). Haruto is the youngest of the unit but definitely doesn't feel like it. He has a cool image and is the tallest member of the unit, he's also pretty popular despite having less experience. He has always dreamt of becoming a dancer and even had to go against his parents but managed to make his dream come true. He uses the emoji of a bear to refer to himself.
